Who we are

Lovelle (lovelle.ro) is an online platform for creating and sending digital invitations. You can write to us any time at contact@lovelle.ro.

Definitions

Platform: the lovelle.ro website and the services offered through it. Organizer: the person who creates an invitation, with or without an account. Guest: the person who receives the invitation's link and may reply to it. Invitation: the page the organizer creates from a template and publishes at a link. Draft: an invitation that is saved but not published. Package: what the organizer buys for an invitation (for example "Essential"), with the features described on the site. Account: the account created on the platform with an email and password, or through Google or Facebook.

Accepting the terms

You accept these terms when you create your account (by ticking the box or continuing with Google or Facebook), when you save a draft and when you pay for a package. Visitors and guests accept them by using the site. The service is meant for people aged 18 or over. If you use the platform on someone else's behalf (for example the couple or the parents), you confirm you have their consent.

Your account

Your account details must be accurate, and the email address must be yours. Keep your password and passkeys safe: you're responsible for what is done from your account. If you sign in with Google or Facebook, using that account is also subject to their terms. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Whenever possible, we'll let you know by email first.

The service

We give you an invitation editor, a preview, publishing at a link you send to your guests, and their replies (RSVPs). Drafts created without an account and never published are deleted automatically after 30 days. After its first publication, an invitation can no longer be changed: you can only unpublish it and publish it again, exactly as it was. Its link doesn't change either. The service is provided "as is". We do our best to keep the site available, but we can't guarantee it will run without interruption. We may improve or change the platform, without removing features included in a package you have already paid for.

Your content

You're responsible for everything you write in your invitation (names, dates, venues, messages) and you confirm you have the consent of the people you name, such as the parents, godparents or the child being baptized. You give us a free, non-exclusive licence, limited to the duration of the service, only to host your invitation and show it to the people you send the link to. Your content remains yours. You may not use the platform for illegal, offensive or discriminatory content, for spam, phishing or scams, or to impersonate someone else. We may disable invitations that break these rules.

Guest replies

What guests send through the reply form (their name, whether they're coming, the number of guests and their message) is seen only by the organizer, who uses it only to organize the event. Lovelle processes this data on the organizer's behalf, as explained in our Privacy policy.

Intellectual property

The platform's templates, illustrations, animations, texts and code belong to Lovelle or to those who licensed them to us. You may use them for your invitations, on the platform, but you may not copy them, resell them or use them outside it.

Prices and payment

Drafts, the editor and the preview are free. Publishing an invitation requires paying for a package, once for that invitation (it's not a subscription). The price shown before payment is the final price: the seller is not registered for VAT. You pay by card, through Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe: we never see or store them. The invoice is issued electronically, sent to the Romanian e-Factura system and emailed to you. Unpublishing and republishing a paid invitation are free.

Delivery

The package is delivered on the spot: as soon as the payment is confirmed, the invitation is published and its link goes live. If by then the invitation is no longer complete or can't be published, the package stays active and you can publish it yourself from your account, without paying again.

Right of withdrawal and refunds

As a consumer, you usually have 14 days to withdraw from a contract made online. For digital content delivered immediately, the law (Romanian Government Emergency Ordinance 34/2014, art. 16 m) only lets you lose this right with your express consent. That's why, before payment, we ask you to confirm that you want the invitation published immediately and that you understand you thereby give up your right of withdrawal. If the payment went through but the invitation was never published, we refund the full amount on request, at contact@lovelle.ro. We don't refund invitations disabled for breaking these terms. Refunds go back to the card used for the payment and usually arrive within 5–10 business days.

How long the invitation stays online

A published invitation stays online for at least 12 months after the event date. If we ever archive older invitations, we'll let you know by email well in advance. You can unpublish it at any time.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for an invitation is limited to the amount paid for it. We don't limit liability for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence. We're not responsible for mistakes in the details entered by the organizer, for sending the link through third-party apps (WhatsApp, email, social networks) or for the site being temporarily unavailable.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time, from Settings → Profile. The invitations in it and the replies they received are deleted with it. Orders and invoices are kept for as long as the law requires (10 years), with only the data needed for accounting.

Changes to these terms

The version of the terms is shown at the top of this page. We'll email you about important changes at least 15 days before they apply. A payment you made remains governed by the terms you accepted at the time.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Romanian law. We try to solve any problem amicably, so please write to us first at contact@lovelle.ro. As a consumer, you can always go to the courts where you live, file a complaint with the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) or use alternative dispute resolution (SAL). Their links are below and at the bottom of every page.
